How, and why, to sign up to access exclusive content

write-out-loud + is a FREE way for you to become a supporting member of write-out-loud. Read on for additional information: what it is, how you can get it, and why it’s being rolled out.

What is write-out-loud+?

write-out-loud is joining with Grow to bring you new features, functionality, as well as access to exclusive content.

How much is write-out-loud+?

write-out-loud+ is FREE. It is not a free trial. It is not free for a little while and there are no hidden fees. This service is free for you to use.

Why am I making some content exclusive?

This part is a little complicated to explain, but I’ll try. Bear with me.

Grow will help write-out-loud continue to be viable despite significant technology changes planned for the years to come in the advertising industry.

I began write-out-loud.com in 2006 with a long term goal to provide my family with an income. It took while but I got there. It comes from the sale of e-products, writing custom speeches, coaching and through the ads you see on the site’s pages.

Looking after write-out-loud is my job. I pour huge amounts of time, energy, effort and love into ensuring it is the best it can be for the people who use it: you.

Killing 3rd party cookies: its impact 

In 2023, Google is going to kill 3rd party cookies. When it does this, it is going to make earning revenue with advertising much more difficult. That matters because part of the impact of the pandemic was a major reduction in the number of people wanting me to write speeches for them. Consequently advertising revenue has became more important.

The ads served on my site are programmatic. These currently use 3rd party cookies to try and figure out which ads might appeal most, and be the most relevant to you: the reader.

In order to safeguard our income I need to find a way to continue to be able to earn, ideally without having to charge YOU, the reader and user of my materials, for everything.

One way of doing that is through establishing direct relationships with site visitors, like yourself, and for you to consent to continue viewing personalized ads even in a post-cookie world.

When you sign up to Grow

Grow is a tool built by Mediavine who runs the advertising on the site. This tool has benefits to both me, the site owner, and you, the reader, but the main one is that it will allow me to keep earning from write-out-loud. By signing up for a free Grow account, you are directly helping to support me, my family and the ongoing creation of new content.
